B2B Sales Executive is responsible for implementation of sales strategies and relationships with key strategic customers, focusing on pet stores, pet retailers and CBD stores within the United States. This role will take a lead in expanding Honest Paws brand at a retail level.

  • Implements and drives the overall brand and sales strategy with key retailers.
  • Proactively look and develop new business opportunities by finding and winning new accounts (retailers).
  • Manage accounts through entire sales process: Outside field sales position, physically at customer location for business development, prospecting, and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support.
  • Creates and maintains a business development plan for each customer. Develop important and effective relationships within the account including Key Executives and translate customer challenges and opportunities into unique business value
  • Execute opportunities into profitable sales.
  • Analyses the market/industry environment (demand, competition), manages the sales pipeline, plans the customer and sales targets, and agrees on action steps.
  • Prepares leads and negotiates proposals and drives follow-up and closing of contracts. Identify solution enhancements or innovations to best serve & anticipate customer/industry needs.

  • Desirable BS/BA in related field

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 3+ years of outside sales or B2B sales management experience.
  • At least 3 yr sales experience in the Pet/CBD Industry is a MUST. Only candidates with experience in this field will be considered.
  • Proven experience managing successful business relations with key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as cross functionally, to accomplish required goals.
